GripLogic AI – CNC parameter & welding advisor · Effective from April 27, 2026

1. About the application

GripLogic AI is a web application for industrial use, developed and operated by Dániel Csaplár (hereinafter: the Operator). It provides CNC machining and plastic-welding parameter recommendations, troubleshooting and shop-log capabilities.

Main modules:

• Machining parameter advisor – turning, milling, drilling (Vc, f, ap, fz, n)
• Plastic-welding parameter advisor – HBW (butt fusion), EF (electrofusion), EW (extrusion), HGW (hot-gas), based on DVS 2207-1/-11/-15/-5
• Diagnostics / Troubleshooter – common machining/welding issues
• Calculator – CNC base calculations (n, vf, t, MRR, etc.)
• Material guide – ISO P/M/N/K/S/H/PL groups
• Chat AI – Google Gemini-based expert answers grounded in the knowledge base
• Work records – completed jobs and measurement entries
• Feedback – parameter rating to refine the database

All values are for informational purposes only. Before any real application always verify the machine, tool, material and shop-standard specifications. For welding parameters, the manufacturer-validated official DVS table stored in the welding-machine controller overrides this advisor. For pressure-bearing applications an EN 13067 qualified welder and a documented WPS are mandatory. The Operator is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of the recommended parameters.

2. User accounts and subscription tiers

• Registration requires a valid email address.
• One account belongs to one natural person.
• Account deletion can be requested at any time inside the app or by email.

Subscription tiers and chat AI daily message limit:

• Free – 5 chat messages / day. Machining and welding advisors, diagnostics, calculator are unlimited.
• Pro – 30 chat messages / day, full material guide.
• Business – 100 chat messages / day, full material guide.
• Admin – internal use, no daily limit.

Subscription status is tracked in the entitlements table. Paid tiers are currently activated manually; automated payment processing will be integrated later.

3. Data processing

The application processes the following data:

• Email address – for registration and identification (stored by Supabase Auth).
• Feedback – parameter ratings (good / adjusted / bad), optional comment and actually-used values. Used to improve the application's quality. Stored tables: parameter_feedback (machining), welding_feedback (plastic welding). Feedback is visible only to the Operator and the account owner.
• Chat history – stored client-side in the browser's localStorage. On the server only an anonymous, hashed question-response cache exists (chat_cache), keeping the response for the SHA-256 hash of the normalized question for 30 days for cost optimization — not linked to any user identifier.
• Chat daily usage – we record how many messages an account has sent on a given day to enforce the daily limit (chat_usage).
• Work records – if you create work-log entries, they are stored linked to your account (work_records).

Data is not shared with third parties and is used only to operate the application, develop the parameter database, and ensure service-level quality.

4. Data processors

• Supabase (supabase.com) – database, Row Level Security, authentication
• Netlify (netlify.com) – static hosting, CDN, server-side functions
• Google Gemini AI (Google Ireland Ltd., google.com) – AI model behind the chat. User queries are processed under Google's data terms. An anonymous query cache is used to reduce redundant calls.

5. Cookies and localStorage

The application uses the browser's localStorage for the login session, chat history, the offline material-database cache, and user preferences (theme, language). These are not used for tracking. With PWA (Progressive Web App) installation the Service Worker uses additional offline storage.

6. Intellectual property

The source code, parameter database and content of the application are protected by copyright. Copying or distribution without written permission is prohibited. References to DVS 2207, EN 1011, ISO 3685 and other standards are informational only — the official standard texts are owned by their publishers.
